Touch International Boosts Capacity to Meet Touch Screen Demand

Austin, TX – October 6, 2010 – With world-wide touch screen demand on the rise, touch screen manufacturer and technology developer, Touch International announced today the expansion of its sales and production capabilities at its Austin, Texas headquarters location.

Touch International has strategically expanded its sales and production capabilities to ensure it is best positioned to serve its customers and capitalize on the touch market growth in the years to come.”

With strong demand in the military, medical and aerospace segments, Touch International has added three vertical market sales teams to serve these distinct industries. Consisting of sales managers, sales engineers, and customer service representatives, each team is dedicated to serving its respective market segment from the initial prototype design through final production.

To support the growing touch screen market, Touch International’s production schedule has been extended to 7-days a week with three alternating manufacturing shifts, building custom resistive and projected capacitive touch screens.

Touch Screen Developer Kits from Touch International Released

Austin, TX – September 20, 2010 – Global touch screen manufacturer and touch technology developer, Touch International, announced today the release of its Touch Screen Developer Kits. Allowing customers to easily test and evaluate touch technologies, these developer kits help engineers to choose the right touch screen for their project and streamline the prototype development process.

“The touch screen developer kits give our customers a chance to test-drive the technology and integrate it into their application to ensure it is the right fit for their product,” explains Robert Spencer, Vice President of Sales for Touch International. “These kits also allow customers to begin software development for their project prior to finalizing the prototype design which can shorten the product’s time to market.”

Touch International’s 10.1” MulTI-Touch Projected Capacitive Developer Kit is the first kit available in the series. The single piece, plug-and-play unit consists of a touch screen mounted to an LCD and a touch screen controller conveniently mounted on a backer board to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Allowing for up to 10-finger touch with full gesture capabilities, the MulTI-Touch developer kit works with water spray and accepts input from gloved and bare fingers and passive pens.

“The MulTI-Touch developer kits let customers get a feel for how it responds to different gestures such as expand, shrink, rotate and flick,” says Spencer. “They can expect the same high-performance from their end product as what they see with the developer kit.”

Touch International Promotes Robert Spencer to Vice President of Sales and Hires Jack Condon as Eastern Regional Sales Manager

Austin, TX – August 30, 2010 – Leading touch screen manufacturer, Touch International, announced today that Robert Spencer has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and will lead Touch International’s worldwide sales initiatives.

“Robert is a valuable asset to the Touch International team and has extensive knowledge and experience in the high-tech electronics industry,” says Michael Woolstrum, Touch International CEO. “I look forward to seeing how Robert will strategically shape the future of Touch International and expand the company’s profitability.”

Spencer has more than 13 years of high-tech sales experience and has held multiple roles in business development and channel sales. Spencer joined Touch International in 2008 and was most recently the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Touch International.

Replacing Spencer as Eastern Regional Sales Manager is Jack Condon, who has extensive high-level sales and marketing experience. Condon will be responsible for handling all of Touch International’s Eastern US and Canada accounts as well as increasing growth in his region.
