Touch International Releases New Large Format 4K Touch Monitors
31.5″ and 55″ 4K PCAP touchscreen monitors combine ultra-high-definition and ultra-customization for a wide range of applications.
AUSTIN, Texas, Sep 24, 2020 – Touch International (TI), a global leader in industrial touch screen and display solutions, has expanded their OFX-Series open-frame PCAP touch monitors with new 31.5” and 55” 4K Ultra-HD options. The plug-and-play monitors feature optically bonded, multi-touch projected capacitive touchscreens, professional-grade displays, powder-coated housings, and can be customized for a wide range of applications.

Both new touch monitors feature professional-grade displays with 3840 x 2160 resolution and wide viewing angles. The 31.5” features 350 of brightness and supports 1.07 billion colors. The 55” features 500 nits brightness and supports 16.7 million colors. The industrial-grade PCAP touchscreens are integrated with full optical bonding to maximize picture quality and product durability. Both monitors feature chemically strengthened cover- glass with a thin black graphic border.
The black powder-coated steel enclosure provides the fit and finish of a custom product with the strength and durability to protect all components. Rear VESA mounts and adjustable side mounting flanges offer ease of integration for enclosures, cabinets, consoles, walls, kiosks, and other applications. HDMI and Display Port inputs are tucked behind the monitor to simplify integration and cable management further. Touchscreen communication via USB ensures plug-and-play operation for Windows and Android applications.

TI development roadmaps show the continued expansion of the OFX-Series with new sizes, new sunlight-readable options, and new medically-certified options scheduled for release in Q4 2020. The OFX-Series currently covers 7” to 55” in various resolutions and can be customized to fit any application through TI’s vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities. Options include sunlight readability, SBC or media player integration, water-resistant and gloved touch, custom cover glass and graphics, touch technology, ruggedization, anti-fingerprint coatings, and more.
