New ISO Certification Means More Options for Touch International Medical Customers
Touch International’s Shenzhen Touch Screen Facility Receives ISO 13485 Certification
Austin, TX – May 20, 2015 – Leading custom touch screen and enhanced display manufacturer, Touch International, announced today that its Shenzhen, China manufacturing facility is now ISO 13485 certified, meaning the facility’s quality management system meets or exceeds ISO requirements for the production of safe and effective medical touch screen displays.
The ISO certification is good news for Touch International’s many medical device customers because it provides quality control, risk management, legal compliance, traceability and recall, process improvement, product improvement, and operational efficiency within the medical device supply chain.
“The ISO 13485 certification demonstrates our commitment to producing high-quality medical touch screens, displays, and other enhanced products for our medical device customers,” explains Michael Woolstrum, Touch International chief executive officer. “This strengthens our position in the market and builds on.”
Medical electronic devices, used in applications such as medical imaging, patient diagnosis, patient monitoring, and various system controls for patients and medical staff, have helped advanced healthcare services worldwide. Both of Touch International’s manufacturing facilities are also ISO 9001:2008 certified, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to continual improvement and meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction requirements.
