Custom Touch Screen Manufacturer Touch International Announces Factory Expansion
Additional 35,000 Square Feet Growth of Vertically Integrated Touch Screen and Display Enhancement Manufacturing Facility
Austin, TX – June 10, 2014 – Touch International, a leading touch screen and display enhancement manufacturer, announced today the expansion of its Shenzhen manufacturing facility. The expansion will accommodate new technology offerings and expand current production to meet increasing industry demand for projected capacitive touch panels and customized touch display integration solutions.
The additional 35,000 square feet expansion will support the launch of new products including 3D glass touch sensors, In-Mold Touch projected capacitive, as well as increase capacity for the company’s current anti-fingerprint, anti-glare, and anti-reflective coating product offerings. The company also added its 10th production laser. The new laser will allow higher volume production and projected capacitive touch panel processing up to 55 inches.

The expansion makes Shenzhen the largest of Touch International’s factories, surpassing the Austin, Texas Engineering and Design center. In addition to the expansion, Touch International is in the final stages of its AS9100 Certification for the facility. The certification is expected to be complete by Q3.
