Touch International Expands Asian Operations
Industry Leader Pei Zhang Appointed as President of TI-PAC
Austin, TX – June 16, 2008 – Touch International, Inc. (TI) announced today the creation of TI-PAC Company Limited led by touch industry veteran Pei Zhang.
“TI-PAC, headquarter in Shenzhen, China, expands the TI’s presence in Asia with local sales, support and logistics to drive the company’s growing touch screen manufacturing plants in Zhong-shan and Shanghai,” explained Michael Woolstrum, Touch International CEO and co-founder. “I have worked with Pei for several years in a supplier and colleague role. I know she will greatly enhance TI’s value proposition in China and throughout the region.”
Ms. Zhang recently served as president and founder of Thin Film Sciences, LLC. and has held executive director positions at several leading FPD and touch panel industry companies over the past 20 years. She will lead TI-PAC sales, sourcing and logistics teams.
Touch International, headquartered in Austin, Texas, was founded in 2002 by eight industry veterans and has become a world leader in touch screen and EMI filter technology. The company, with its partner DMC, Co. Ltd. in Osaka, Japan, operates eight manufacturing facilities world-wide with over of 1,200 employees.
